The 2021 Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival is coming back to Franklin, TN. For the third year, Twice Daily Thrive is the official fuel sponsor of the festival and this year we’re thrilled to announce that we will be offsetting the festival’s fuel and energy consumption, making the event 100% carbon neutral!
Due to COVID-19, we were not able to sponsor last year so we are elated to have the opportunity to sponsor the festival again this fall.
This year’s music lineup features artists across a wide range of genres, with national acts like Dave Matthews Band, Maren Morris, the Black Keys, Valerie June and Tank and the Bangas. The festival also showcases local talent like Katie Pruitt, Hailey Whitters, Blessing Offor Morgan Wade and Robert Finley.
But the Pilgrimage is more than just a music festival — it’s a whole experience. The founders and team curate every aspect of the festival with passion, so that both regulars and first-time patrons have an experience that’s nothing short of amazing. In addition to incredible music, this year’s event also includes a Maker’s Village, Farm to TurnTable food truck, Art Barn, Craft Beer Hall and more.
The festival is family-friendly and all are welcome. This year, the Lil’ Pilgrims area has expanded the activities stage, The Mare Barn Theater, to include sessions in kid improv, up close puppet and magic shows and a songwriting workshop for children.
Be sure to check out the Americana Music Triangle. It’s a dedicated space where festival attendees can be immersed in world-famous music landmarks, tucked away hamlets and one-of-a-kind stops along the Gold Record Road. The experience is designed to inspire music fans to plan road trips of their own to visit each partner city.
One more piece of festival advice? Come hungry! The team has curated an incredible selection of food vendors for you to enjoy. You’ll find vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options, along with plenty of other choices. Farm to Turntable is the food truck park located in the festival’s South Paddock. It features picnic tables, your favorite food trucks, shaded dining areas, seating, active kitchens and spirit activations.
This year a portion of ticket sales benefits park preservation group Friends of Franklin Parks as well as MusiCares, a nonprofit wing of the Recording Academy.
